In a time when many yearn for breakthroughs be it in their families, careers, ministries, or personal lives the Lord continues to remind us of timeless keys that unlock His promises. Recently, I shared a message on the power and wonders of prayer and fasting, and I want to extend that encouragement to all those following this blog.
Breakthroughs Are Birthed in the Spiritual Realm
True breakthrough is never accidental; it is a product of engaging the spiritual realm with understanding and dedication. As I taught, referencing Jesus’ forty days in the wilderness and other biblical examples, there are doors that no amount of physical effort, connections, or intellect can open these require dedicated prayer and fasting. Every believer’s destiny waits on the other side of spiritual warfare.
The Purpose of Fasting and Prayer
Fasting is not a burden but a joy for those who grasp its spiritual significance. It subdues the flesh, breaks the powers of adversaries, and opens the heavens for God to release speedy answers. Prayer, coupled with fasting, is a divine weapon. When we persist in these disciplines, we align ourselves with God’s will and unlock rewards and victories that transform every area of our lives.
Perseverance Opens Doors
I reminded the congregation that spiritual disciplines should never be approached reluctantly; rather, understand that breakthroughs are your rightful heritage in Christ. Do not quit before you see your answer. There is a reward waiting for those who persist, and God is pleased to honor faith and sacrifice. Encouragement to the Body of Christ This season, the Lord is inviting us to embrace prayer and fasting anew. Make it a lifestyle, not just a requirement during crisis. As you press forward, the chains that have held blessings, health, and peace hostage will break. The enemy is defeated when believers remain vigilant and steadfast at the altar of prayer.
